Who this covers
This policy is for the LumaNest TV app on Apple TV, published by Mohamed Nizam. Last updated 26 September 2026.
LumaNest TV plays media from a Plex library and a live TV server that you connect. The app does not create its own viewer account.
What you type in Settings
A Plex library token, an optional Plex account sign-in, and a live TV name, server address, username, and password stay in the Apple TV Keychain. They are sent only to the Plex or live TV server you entered, so that server can play your media.
The developer does not receive your Plex token, Plex password, or live TV password.
Watch progress
Continue Watching is stored on the Apple TV. When iCloud is available, that progress syncs with the Apple ID already signed in on that Apple TV, through Apple’s iCloud. The developer does not receive your Apple ID or your watch progress.
Request wishlist
If you enter the shared Plex library token, you can request a title. The app then sends the title name, year when it is known, and the kind of title (movie, series, episode, or live) to the developer through Telegram, so the title can be considered for that library.
That message does not include your Apple ID, your live TV password, or your Plex token. Signing in with your own Plex account does not send a request.
What the app does not do
- It does not show advertising and does not use tracking.
- It does not sell information.
- It does not ask for your location, contacts, photos, or microphone.
Servers you choose
Playback requests go to the Plex server and the live TV server whose addresses you save in Settings. Those services handle the request under their own policies. Apple handles iCloud sync under Apple’s privacy policy.
Children
LumaNest TV is a media player. It is not directed at collecting personal information from children.
